The purpose of the Ecommerce Web Administrator role is to strengthen our ecommerce team and to support the growth of our online brands. You will work with internal teams and external partners to drive and implement our ecommerce roadmap.

This is a full-time role for a motivated individual with sound ecommerce and website experience who seeks a career in ecommerce within a growing and successful company.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain our websites and digital appearances by taking ownership of the content management and website administration systems
  • Maintaining 3rd party tools that are being used for merchandising and marketing purposes on the website e.g. for personalisation, search
  • Administrate and improve the technical and structural set-up and integrated apps which provide the basis for our ecommerce websites
  • Run frequent diagnostic checks and daily site monitoring service to validate that the websites are up and running correctly
  • Set up and maintain products, prices, web categories and content across our websites
  • Support the development of our ecommerce activities and take part in implementing new technical solutions, apps, and integrations
  • Create compelling user journeys, value propositions and online content
  • Constantly analyse data, derive insights, and make recommendations
  • Support the category management and merchandising teams to improve existing product listings and the category presentation
  • Collaborate closely with the Ecommerce Manager, digital team and agencies to support our growth

Skills/Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar ecommerce role
  • Excellent communications and written copy skills
  • Good understanding of ecommerce dynamics
  • Sound knowledge of website platforms
  • Motivated, willing to learn and flexible
  • Robust experience with content management systems, ecommerce tools and analytics software
  • Sound knowledge of ecommerce SEO and how to optimise websites
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web languages would be beneficial
  • Analytical and data driven
  • Able to quickly adapt to new situations, software tools and an evolving market
  • Confident working on your own as much as you enjoy working collaboratively within a team
  • Comfortable building effective relationships with colleagues, external partners, and suppliers
  • Strong interest in ecommerce and web technology
